Compose correspondences and forms to interact with clients; electronically and physically-Interpret and apply complex federal, state, and local policies using FUSION manuals and trainings specific to each program to enhance job professional development and performance-Utilize multiple government systems to determine client eligibility, not limited to EPPIC (EBT), SAVE (immigrant documentation), VEC (Virginia Employment Commission) and SPIDeR (electronic verifications)-Review, update and correct cases using Rushmore; electronic case reading system-Current member of BPRO (Virginia Benefit Programs Organization); provide support and advocacy to benefit program staff, assist with policy reviews and new training systems-Participate in community events such as the Health Department Spring Fair and Chesapeake Health Fair; conducted presentations to community groups to increase public awareness of agency programs Show less
