I have been in the retirement plan industry since 1988 and have spent my career helping plan sponsors get the most out of their retirement plan. In 1998 I started Sunwest Pensions and managed and grew it until we were acquired in 2023 by July Business Services. I will continue consulting in the retirement services industry along with speaking and writing articles relating to our business. I also want to help other women succeed in the financial services industry so in 2023 I obtained both my life coaching and business coaching certificates. My biggest goal is to help women enter our industry, grow in our industry and have the opportunity to achieve the highest level in this male-dominated industry.I am currently on the board of WIPN (We Inspire. Promote. Network) working on research and National Programming. The research we do dives deep into ways to change our industry through pay equity and transparency, mentoring and sponsorship, and caregiving and mental health topics. I also give back to my community through my involvement in Junior Achievement and The Fountain Hills Community Foundation. My husband, Peter, and I also have a private foundation (The Peter and Theresa Conti Foundation) that supports our local school district as sponsors of the PTO, the Elementary School Library, the Salvation Army Christmas Angel Program and a scholarship program for graduating seniors.
