Conduct comprehensive/specialized assessments to understand specific Veterans/spouses’ interests, preferences, support needs, skill sets, and abilities to achieve their employment goalsDevelop job training opportunities for disabled Veterans through contacts with employers. Carry out outreach activities to locate disabled Veterans through contacts with local Veterans organizations, Veterans' Administration, the North Carolina Job Center and local employment service offices and community-based organizations. Consult and coordinate with other appropriate representatives of federal, state and local programs for the developing maximum linkages to promote employment opportunities and provide maximum employment assistance to veterans. Carry out other duties which will promote the development of entry level and career job opportunities for veterans. Provide counseling services to Veterans with respect to Veterans' selection of and changes in vocations and Veterans' vocational adjustment. Provide services as a case manager to Veterans participating in Federal or federally funded training programs.

Serves as an Aviation Operations Sergeant for the 31D Aviation Brigade with five battalions {two centralized) and one separate company consisting of approximately 2,580 personnel and 110 aircraft; responsible for day Brigade TOC operations; responsible for the management, development and welfare of three soldiers; duties involve training, schools, plans, operations, and office management; communications and maintenance; accountable for over $1,000,000 worth of equipment.

Squad Leader in an Aviation Brigade, 3d Infantry Division; responsible for the health, welfare, morale training and administration of ten soldiers; responsible for conducting and overseeing all mandatory training for all incoming personnel prior to deploying to OIF III; responsible for the accountability of the units stay behind equipment.

Supervises and trains two NCOs and 10 aviation operation specialists in their assigned duties; responsible for processing flight plans and other air traffic related data through national and international air traffic systems; provides flight planning service to include current publications, maps and charts, AIRADS display and weight and balance forms on eighteen assigned AH-64D helicopters; responsible for $500,000 worth of equipment.

Senior Flight Dispatcher responsible for the training of seven Soldiers; manages, monitors and processes Instrument Flight Rules (IFR), Visual Flight Rules (VFR), composite flight plans at Davison Army Airfield (DAAF), including emergency and contingency operations; ensures flight plans are filled out correctly and filed daily; responsible for processing flight movement messages using the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Aeronautical Information System (AIS).

Manage, monitor and process Instrument Flight Rules(IFR), Visual Flight Rules(VFR), and Composite flight plans in and out of Davison Anny Airfield(DAAF), including emergency and contingency operations; ensures flight plans are filled out correctly and filed daily; responsible for processing flight movement messages with the Federal Aviation Administration(F AA) using the Aeronautical Information System Replacement(AISR); process Notices to Airman (NOTAMS) using the NOTAM data base system; ensures the care and welfare of two soldiers.

Responsible for making sure local and cross-country flight clearances are processed, checking the accuracy of flight plans and coordinating them. Flight logs on all flights and individual flight records also fall under your purview in MOS 15P. This job also includes alerting crash crews of emergencies, and perhaps most importantly, you'll need to have a bit of meteorologist in you, because it's up to you to interpret and post weather reports that could affect flight and flight missions.
