I specialize in the development of iOS applications, and I have a strong background in C, C++, Linux and Java. Working as a shift leader in the service industry for 7 years has taught me how to communicate effectively with people. It has turned me into a people person and i can strike up a conversation with anyone and I use this skill to create a welcoming experience for every customer. This important skill makes me a better Software Engineer because it allows me to build a network and to manage a team of coworkers to achieve a common goal. I love building things and making things work. I was the kid that would take things apart to see how they work. I am happy that I get to work in a career that can change the world and my career goal is to be a part of a project that makes the world a better place. The reason i chose Computer Science as my major is because it is the forefront of technological change and I believe that working in this field is where I can change the world the most.If I had to summarize my attitude into a single word that word would be competitive. Competitiveness is a trait that I believe every successful person must have. It is that desire to be the best version of you that powers me to want to accomplish everything that I possibly can. When failure looks to be the possible option it's my competitive spirit that drives me to work harder to ensure that failure is not an option.When I’m not at work I am running or tinkering on anything and everything. I try to race once every three months with my best finish coming in May of 2017 where i placed 4th out of 500 racers with average pace of 6:21 minutes per mile. I train every week to improve my personal best times cause if your not improving your diminishing. When I’m not running I’m working on my car or building something new out of a raspberry pi. My newest toy is a Tevo Tarantula 3D printer that has taught me 3d modeling using Fusion 360.
