As a Business Analyst, I have advocated the importance of operational efficiency across the organisation as a means of advancing business growth in key areas such as customer base, transactions, and improved customer experience. Moreover, the first regional airlines service into Virgin Australia the ATR 500 & 600 Aircraft variants was introduced, opportunities for operational process improvements by using new/changing processes and/or technology were identified, and quality control of internal code change activities impacting daily operations were monitored closely. During my tenure, I was able to develop an understanding of the workforce demand trends in the transportation industry, identified opportunities to improve and developed external-facing operations processes to achieve greater efficiency, and effectively supervised the daily operations performance and statistics using existing monitoring tools. In addition, analysis and regular updates on crew performance and absenteeism, induction processes and general expenditure by extracting data from various Virgin Australia departments were provided, with the aim to ensure resources are optimised and profitable across all base locations.In addition, I have project managed the new daily business network route allowing customers to utilise a direct flight schedule from Melbourne to Los Angeles on the 777 aircraft, organised, introduced and managed a new daily business network allowing directs flights from Melbourne to Hong Kong schedule on the A330. These new network routes required establishing an appropriate pairing and slot schedule, expertise flight crew training pathways developed, hotel procurement, safety compliance & regulations, and working with internal & external stakeholders. I have worked closely and established good relations with the fight crew rostering team to identify and suggest cost savings & increases in resource planning productivity, which allowed industry progress & gainful results.
