In this time I have completed a Certificate III Chemical Plant Operations to further my experience and knowledge in refinery processes.As a Process technician in Calcination duties included:- Operation and monitoring of gas calciners and associated equipment such as ID fans, FD fans, compressors, spray waters systems, gas manifolds, bag house systems, cyclones, pneumatic transport systems, air slides and silos.- Equipment car routes- Sampling- Preventative maintenance on equipment- House keeping- Isolation and permitting including purging of gas systems- Maintenance notification and work orders- Design, review and implementation of SOP's and ABP'sWhile in this position I was also involved I the Bag House Turnaround Team. This team was put together for the routine change out of the bag house filter clothes in the calciners.
