Trent Holmes is an experienced and accomplished business broker specializing in the sale of accounting, tax, & CPA practices. He is an owner/member of APS Holmes Group LLC (The Holmes Group), which is a team of independent brokers with Accounting Practice Sales, which is and has been the largest marketer of accounting and tax practices in North America for many years. Trent has been working with APS for over nine years and has successfully assisted in the sale/merger of hundreds of practices throughout that time. Trent processes an in-depth knowledge regarding the market for practice sales and provides business owners with a keen, third party perspective, as it relates to their individual and unique situations. He assists owners in providing them with a business valuation along with walking them through every aspect of a tailored marketing strategy to ensure they’re able to find the right buyer/partner for their practice and to ensure their clients and employees are taken care of for many years to come.On top of providing valuation and marketing expertise, Trent also is involved in every other aspect involving practice sales in order to provide a full-service approach to his clients. This includes but is not limited to qualifying buyers, assisting in negotiations, packaging loans through third party lenders, providing contract assistance, and the eventual closing and transition of the practice to the new owner. He does not believe in a firmly believes that practice sales are not a “one size fits all” and that each situation must be looked over with a fine tooth comb to ensure they are handled properly.
