I served as a co-advisor for the Residence Hall Association Council (RHAC) and advised the RHAC Activities and Relations Committee and its two chairpersons where our goal was to provide engaging social programs for an on-campus population of about 3,300. The committee was responsible for 4 major programs/events a year. In my role I conducted weekly one-on-one meetings with four executive board members, and provided additional support to other executive board or general body members. I was also responsible for the coordination of the fall and spring RHAC Leadership Retreats for 36 student leaders with a focus on teambuilding and leadership development. Within the department I served on the Professional Staff Training and Development Committee and was a GOLD retreat facilitator.
