I am currently striving to become a engineer in the aerospace field. I now have 2 yrs experience in both testing and assembling aerospace hardware. I am looking for an opportunity to move forward and take on more responsibility as a engineer.I have been a swimmer my entire life. Since I started swimming competitively when I was 10 I have always had a drive to compete and further myself as an athlete. I continued to swim for my local club team and high school team until I graduated from High school. During my Junior and Senior year I qualified individually for the championship state meet in Ohio where I won a podium spot in 2 of my races. At the University of Cincinnati, I swam on varsity swim team for 2 years. I made the conference team both years swimming and finalled in multiple races. The reason I ended my swimming career was due to transferring colleges and finishing my goal of being an aerospace engineer. Swimming has been a huge part of my life and I hope the competitive and athletic side of me never dwindles. Because of my past athletic career, I have acquired many traits that I will never lose. These include teamwork, coachablity, drive to better myself, competitiveness, hardworking ethic, and to support my team no matter what. Many of these traits can be translated into the workplace, where I could become a valuable member of a team again. My major work experience includes Engineering Internship with a commercial HVAC company where I designed plans to heat and cool a building properly depending on the needs of the customers.I am also certified in Lifeguarding and CPR.
