As a non-profit philanthropic organization, the Jewish Federation’s needs are always evolving. The marketing department is in charge of all communication to donors, prospects, and the general Jewish community here in Rochester. I manage all social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram) as well as launch email marketing campaigns using software like Mailchimp. I frequently manage projects from start to finish: working with program leads with creative briefs and pre-planning meetings, drafting copy decks, engaging freelance designers or using my own design skills, ensuring branding guidelines are upheld, creating any necessary registration or donation pages, and then pushing the marketing materials through the various appropriate channels. I also am the primary manager of the website and frequently edit page design, copy, and manage the community calendar.
