OUR MISSION is to create safer communities.To achieve this, the team at the Cyber Safety Project have developed a National Cyber Safety Curriculum Program for Australian schools linked to current national and state curriculum frameworks. Our aim is to design and deliver engaging learning experiences for students, teachers and the wider community focused on developing future skills, lifelong habits and self-regulation when using digital technologies for work, life and play.

Providing teachers and leaders with school wide technology transformation projects, innovative curriculum design and certified training with technologies for learning including ICT Peer Coaching and 21st Century Learning Design Framework.

This adventure set out in 2014 seeing me responsible for promoting best practice use of technology in the classroom. With many hats I juggle teaching Junior Science and Technology with supporting/coaching colleagues in build confidence and capacity to develop and facilitate innovative curriculum, through the use of technologies.My role also provides the opportunity to support student leadership and growth, I worked closely our Technology Captains to lead the Student IT Ninja/eSmart Program.We are committed deeply embedding eSmart practices. I lead a team of staff to develop programs, procedures and policies which ensure we meet the standards and build a community who possess the knowledge and skills to be safe and responsible digital citizens.

As a national consultant and Group Manager for Expanding Learning Horizons, I delivered innovative ICT strategic planning and tailored Professional Learning for schools around implementing technology into the classroom and preparing students for the 21st Century. I worked with K - 12 schools in education departments all over Australia working closely with teachers seeking to design curriculum programs that are rich in technology and enhance learning outcomes for students. Some of the projects that have worked effectively in schools include; The 21st Century Classroom, Tailoring Assessment for Learning, Reflection with technology, Managing a 1-1 Classroom, Create and Collaborate with Windows 8, Using OneNote to Enhance Outcomes, 'Flipping' the Classroom with Mobile Learning. Web 2.0 Tools for Creativity, Innovation and Collaboration.

I have worked in a variety of year levels with an Inquiry Focus. Providing an engaging classroom for students I was lucky to be working in a classroom where all students had their own personal device for learning. As an active member of the e-Learning curriculum committee I oversaw the implementation of a 1:1 netbook program and supported colleague in promoting rich learning for students learning in a digital age. Leading technology integration I was also trained as a Lead User of the Ultranet and provided training for other teaching throughout the implementation phases.With a passion for student leadership development I took on additional responsibilities which included working as the leader of the Junior School Council to enable students at LPS have a voice.
