In all work that I do, I am a storyteller first. I found my passion for storytelling through musical theater, which came into my life through of my early love of music. After working consistently as a performer on Broadway for 10+ years, I found myself as serving as an organizational culture and community leader trusted by my managers and peers to help build the safe and communicative environment needed to best support the high-stress performance schedule that Broadway demands. As I continued to learn and grow, I found myself wishing for the chance to apply the diverse set of professional skills I learned to new organizations. The Saunders Collective was born of my family's and my passion to help shape stories told both through producing as well through organizational leadership and mission consulting work. This passion is shared by me and my family, the other members of the collective, all of whom are dedicated to sharing new, exciting, unheard stories to all. Spectra Media Collective is the fruit of years of ideation and labor by my family as well: a new media and technology seed-funded start-up whose mission is to increase access to the industry of musical theatre through the development of a digital playground to support all phases of the theatrical life cycle. We have developed and launched spectra.theater, the first of its kind platform to serve the needs of the diverse passionate amateur theater-making communities that form the backbone of the $10B live theatrical economy.My leadership within these organizations, along with my continuing love of performance, demonstrate the evolution of the multi-hyphenate artist that I have grown into. I can't wait to see where my journey leads me next.
