As the head of Regional Marketing I was responsible for a team across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Hong Kong. Writing: penning locally compelling newsletters weekly and inspiring reviews daily, as well as persuasive pitches to venue owners and marketing partners.Event planning: Conceptualise, negotiate, plan and execute cool, fun and buzz-worthy (big wow factor!) events/parties. Hosted over 100 events ranging in size from 10 to 500.Marketing outreach: Connect with the right local organisations, coordinate weekly cross promotional partnerships.Socialising and adventuring: Meet up with Yelpers. Attend civic events. Promote Yelp through various means including attending product and venue launches, networking events and pursuing radio and speaking opportunities.The go-to person when it comes to planning a night out, always ready with a recommendation for Melbourne's best finds and hidden hotspots.

Geisha 2.0 was my own small businesses created to connect locals and visitors with Melbourne's hospitality scene. My small group tours were dynamic adventures that allowed strangers to become friends, locals to become tourists and tourists to become locals and allowed me to build relationships across and F&B sector in Melbourne.I also ran a series of sell out "secret" pop up events, showcasing emerging alcohol brands in unusual settings.- Experience creation.- Brand storytelling- Food and beverage education.- Problem solving.
