Slayzhon is a social curation and media production house that always comes to slay, powered by the imagination of journalist, authoress and world changer Tre’vell Anderson. Our goal is to build community, create space, and inspire new possibilities. The methods of our madness are written and spoken word, visual and expressive media, and experiential events.

In addition to being a freelancer whose industry reporting and cultural criticism has graced the covers and pages of Ebony, Essence, The Washington Post, Cosmopolitan, Time and Entertainment Weekly, Tre’vell co-hosts two podcasts: Crooked Media’s daily news show “What A Day,” and Maximum Fun’s “FANTI,” a pop culture show through the lens of Black queer journalists. They also have a third podcast, a limited series based on their recently released book, We See Each Other: A Black, Trans Journey Through TV & Film, currently releasing new episodes, called “We See Each Other: The Podcast” which they host alongside another Black journalist.
