Trever has considerable experience in economic development and not-for-profit organizations working with economic development agencies and private companies across Canada. Trever has contributed to promoting the city of Lethbridge, Alberta as an investment attraction destination for companies around the world, created strategy to bring together competing community stakeholders for increased investment attraction and was awarded the Best in Class award from Economic Development Association of Canada and the Excellence in Business Attraction Award by the SouthGrow Regional Initiative. Trever’s research acumen has been an integral component in identifying strategic direction for Economic Development Lethbridge with some of the economic indicators still in use today. In the not-for-profit sector, Trever has 19 years of experience leading a variety of organizations providing significant operational improvements, establishing financial stability, and implementing strategic plans for the benefit of 1,000's of clients ranging from out of school care programs to counselling clients to adults with autism. His desire to manage change and help others succeed is what has allowed for the achievement of significant and lasting results for the different communities he has had the privilege of serving.
