What a ride it's been so far. I've been blessed to have had an education that has given me a freedom most people would envy. Having spent my 20's and early 30's going on adventures, studying nursing & graduating from Manchester Victoria University, playing with one of the UK's foremost Blues bands for a few years, working at a children's clinic for the NGO Calcutta Rescue in India, the orthopedic clinic at the Goethe Institut in Frankfurt and travelling just about everywhere I wanted to, I finally settled in Phuket, Thailand in the late 90's.I'd made my first website before then in 1993, a tongue in cheek guide to Calcutta. Once settled in Thailand I had enough time to indulge myself in what was then a hobby, web design and writing and in short order this became my business, I write for several well known blogs under various nom de plumes, I also had my own column in the local newspaper for 7 years. My dormant nursing skills were called into use during the Asian Tsunami and if you search youtube with my name and 'Phuket' there is a documentary about the work I did at that time, it's not an easy watch.In 2014 I released a long promised solo album with all original (bar one) songs recorded with some top musicians in Chiang Mai, Thailand. My search for a wife has resigned itself to patiently waiting as opposed to actively recruiting, "but the waiting feeling's fine" as Bob said.In 2015 I consulted and developed a stem cell clinic in Manila. The clinic opened for business in March 2016 and is doing well.I have a few vacancies for new consultancy clients and retainer based digital marketing clients.In 2016 I moved to Bangkok and that's where I am based now.I am currently consulting for a health related company in Australia and this includes every element from social media management and website content and design.In 2019 we I opened a new area of business focused on podcasting and with a move to new premises in early 2020 I completed the development of a broadcast quality sound and video studio in Bangkok.
