My role at QPCU is to manage and lead the Projects and Technology function. Provide vision and leadership for developing and implementing information technology initiatives, direct the planning and implementation of enterprise systems in order to improve cost effectiveness, service quality and business improvement. Working closely with all areas of the business I am response for aligning technology and projects in order to accomplish the corporate goals and objectives of QPCU. This includes defining, updating and implementing a technology strategy for the organisation.

• Ensure the stable operation and technical support of core banking software and front end applications, including: - Ultracs core banking system, web based CRM system, origen loan origination system, internet banking and web loan facilities, mobile internet banking (encompassing iPhone, Android, Blackberry, Windows Mobile and Nokia), IVR phone banking, Bpay and BpayView, SQL reporting data warehouse, SMS one time passwords, SMS Queries, SMS Alerts.• Lead new projects for new IT systems, including core banking software installations and upgrades• Play major role in the design and development of outsourcing of IT infrastructure• Effective administration of Windows Server environment including:- Network and Infrastructure design, Windows Terminal Servers, Microsoft exchange 2007 and Cisco Ironport email filtering, Sophos Antivirus, Intranet web site programming including MYSQL database• Develop and maintain core banking reports using SQL and ad-hoc reports/queries using UniVerse database• Determine required data processing tasks to be completed each day• Perform critical data processing tasks such as monthly client and credit card statements, fees and charges, interest posting and reporting requirements• Ensure ongoing maintenance of disaster recover site• Liaise with external software and hardware vendors• Manage Telstra corporate billing and maintain QPCU mobile phone fleet of 20 mobiles (iPhone, Android and Nokia)• Research and evaluate cost effective solutions to both resolve problems or improve existing systems functionality• Support and maintain Cisco phone system including, Call Manager, Contact Centre Express, Unity Voicemail and Unified Presence• Develop and maintain all IT procedures and processes
