I’m an accountant, taxation specialist and Director of Fiskl Advisory, with more than a decade of experience in the finance industry.I founded Fiskl Advisory as a client-centred, full-service advisory firm, and we’re on a mission to show it’s possible to foster great outcomes for both people and profit, with the right mix of skills, experience and good communication.I’m a strong believer in the importance of ongoing education, and since finishing my Bachelor of Commerce (Finance and Accounting) at Bond University in 2007 I’ve gone on to complete a Diploma of Financial Planning, a Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting, a Masters in Applied Taxation at the University of New South Wales. I have also since completed a Bachelor of Laws at Queensland University of Technology, to enhance my knowledge and skills in legislation, litigation and dispute resolution.Throughout my studies I’ve developed a passion for international taxation arrangements, and I’m particularly drawn to revenue authorities within the Asia Pacific Region, specifically China, Singapore and South Korea. I’m ready to expand my client base and begin new projects in my areas of specialty including transfer pricing, tax residency, estate planning, corporate structures, consolidation, GST, and more.I’m a regular speaker at events hosted by various tax and accounting bodies throughout Australia, and the Treasurer of the South Chamber of Commerce. I’m also privileged to play a role in nurturing the next generation of accounting professionals, by marking exams for Chartered Accountants and presenting regularly at their events.Outside of work I sing in a barbershop group, and volunteer as the Financial Controller for Barbershop Harmony Australia.I’m always keen to expand my professional network, and I’m also available to speak and present at events around the country, so please get in touch if you’d like to connect.
