I have published two titles, 'Crossing Continents with Top Deck, the travel revolution of the 70s-90s' and 'The Cops, not just a job'. Both books are non-fictional and describe the lost era's of both overland travel and policing in N.S.W before the age of political correctness.

I created a small promotion & advertising business operating from Sydney, as a contractor I help prepare and manage mobile promotional events to larger organizations. I am currently in a position where I am engaged by various companies to assist and manage small promotional events

I was accepted into the New South Wales Police Service and commenced duties at Cabramatta in General Duties. I was later transferred to Taree and then Forster where soon after I changed to Criminal Investigation Duty. While with the NSW Police I was involved in all facets of Policing focusing on criminal investigation. I also created and presented complex briefs of evidence to all Court Jurisdictions. Whilst serving as a Detective, I supervised a small team of investigators and oversaw the activities of Police Officers within the entire L.A.C. I also provided operational advice to the local Commanders. I retired from the Police Service after 22 years service.

I returned to Australia and worked as a boilermaker at O’Farrell and sons Botany in the construction of stainless steel vessels. I worked as a team leader supervising the fabrication of complex projects.

I commenced my employment with Top Deck Travel as a tour bus driver conducting 7-week European tours; I was also involved in the training of new staff whilst on tour during the winter months. I moved onto 11-week London/ Kathmandu overland tours completing four as a driver. I changed my duties to that of a courier/tour manager and completed a total of three 22-week London to Sydney overland tours. At various times I managed the companies operations in Asia from Kathmandu, Nepal.

I began my working career in Broken Hill where I completed a 4-year apprenticeship as a boilermaker. I was also later employed for six months each as a miner and a barman.
