Howdy! I’m a Certified Emergency Manager with over a decade of experience leading disaster preparedness and response programs at local, state, and national levels. Preventing loss and suffering from disasters is my personal mission and I’m extremely passionate about helping others avoid and navigate crises. As a practitioner, it is my philosophy that it is better to become resilient and protean (adaptable, versatile) than it is to try and predict what the future will bring. With this mindset, I help organizations and governments by providing a practical, engaged, and mission-focused approach to emergency preparedness that is informed by emerging research and insights from disaster response.
