Materials team member for the independent study research group part of Iowa State University.- Key player in NASA funded Exploration Systems and Habitation (X-HAB) challenge for future deep space missions- Participate in weekly meetings to discover new solutions to potential complications within the project- Collaborate with interdisciplinary majors to design, construct, and test a functioning heat exchanger- Contribute to monthly review meetings with NASA and Collins Aerospace to discuss timelines, challenges and solutions to the design project- Perform trade studies, create proper safety data sheets, and present findings to research teams at Nasa, The Kennedy Space Center, and Collins Aerospace
