AWS Tech U ‘s 16-Week Cloud Career Prep. (CCP) learning pathway is designed to strengthenintroductory knowledge and practical application in information technology as a baseline andcloud technology. Learners spend their time completing formal coursework by engaging in aninstructor-led training model (virtual and in person) with Tech U technology expertinstructors, hands-on labs, proficiency knowledge checks, assessments, extended learningactivities, and case study presentations. Extended Learning activities are designed to allow thelearner to learn and be curious by exploring areas of interest beyond the core CCP learningpath content.

As a Human Resource Manager (3FOX1 - Personnel Specialist) in the USAF, I performed various administrative, technical, and management roles. I worked in the customer support section managing personnel records, advising members on career actions and military regulations, and utilizing technologies such as Microsoft Suite (Office, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and MilPDS Oracle Database. After earning the John Levitow Award as the top graduate in Airman Leadership School, I was promoted to section supervisor for the commander's support squadron in the 921st Contingency Response Unit, 821st Contingency Response Wing. In addition to serving as a career advisor for unit personnel, I scheduled and setup unit events and executive meetings, managed the commander's calendar appointments, personnel onboarding and out-processing, and unit accountability and training reports. I deployed to Iraq as the PERSCO career field expert in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, where I managed personnel accountability, unit reporting, and personnel management actions.
