Extensive experience in building and restructuring businesses, in US, Europe, Asia and Middle East. Originally a qualified Civil Engineer, followed by 21 years in investment banking (corporate finance/M&A), last 14 years have been in operational roles as CEO/COO. Sector expertise - telecoms, media, technology, power and renewable energy, climate change and civil engineering. In February 2018, joined Plus Renewable Technologies as Deputy CEO and Chairman of Radian Generation and became full time CEO of AP Solar Holdings Limited in August 2019. Originally a Civil Engineer (8 years) and subsequently an Investment Banker (21 years). Last 9 years as a banker, led teams for Goldman Sachs in Europe and in Asia for the Telecoms and Media sectors and then ran Lazard's Power & Energy Advisory practice in London, before leaving banking and joining the Clinton Climate Initiative. For over a decade, has been active in various roles in the development of clean energy projects and technologies. During his career he has lived and worked in Africa, the USA, Japan and Hong Kong. He originally qualified as a Chartered Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers after obtaining a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Civil Engineering from University College London and has an MBA from the London Business School.
