Trevor Potts is a Volunteer - Communications Chair, UWCI Emerging Leaders Society at United Way of Central Indiana. He possess expertise in community outreach. Colleagues describe him as "Trevor is more than a professor; he is a seed-planter, an idea-creator, and a door-holder for his students. He teaches communication for the art that it is rather than the science that scholars make it. Trevor motivates action in his students to do good by creating projects around civic engagement and giving them the resources needed to achieve their goals. He is an excellent professor and it is an honor to learn from him."
