During the first few weeks of business, I worked to help oversee the specific portions of the team to ensure they were working within franchise guidelines. Throughout my time at this particular location, I became proficient at every station including the cash register and slicing. Toward the end of my time in Springfield, I was promoted to shift leader from crew member and I was entrusted with store keys. As a shift leader my responsibilities were supervising the crew, closing the store, recording the daily cash records and preparing the deposit for the next day.

I was part of the grand opening crew at Firehouse Subs in Gresham. My first core duty was putting the final touches on the subs and ensuring they were assembled correctly according to the order slip. If anything was incorrect, I would ensure the product was corrected before serving the food to the guest. My other duties included greeting every guest and giving them a personalized menu tour as well as maintaining a clean/sanitary workstation.
