I am a Technology Assistant for Administration at Rochester Community Schools District. Currently, I am working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology at Baker College. Fresh to the Information Technology industry, I have had a lot of opportunity to learn and expand my knowledge within the field. Previously, my work experience lies in the trades. Having worked under a General Contractor for 7+ years, I learned how to properly manage time and proper project planning skills. Alongside planning and management skills learned previously, I was able to obtain skills necessary to complete electrical installs (low voltage/high voltage), relocation, and demolition. In my time at Rochester Community School District, I have been given the great opportunity to work under experienced and knowledgeable mentors. Along the way, I have picked up skills including but not limited to; Powershell scripting, Active Directory Management, Switch & Router Management, Project Planning, Low-voltage Cable Installation and Relocation, Troubleshooting techniques, Teamwork, etc.I hope to continue down my career path in Information Technology for the decades to come, and to continue working in the field that I am passionate about.
