Worked in shop building water control devices (rice trunks, spillways, uprights, and doors), designed, fabricated and built sand retention devices and wash over gauges for sea turtle research, and snare holders for alligator trapping using various saws (chop, miter, skill, table, band, hand, chain and saw-zall), drills (electric, battery operated, and drill press), planers, wenches, speed squares and tape measures. Worked on the SCDNR Tom Yawkey Wildlife Center Sea Turtle Project with Caity Brig verifying nesting crawls, then using a probe to find and document nests, removing an egg and preparing it for research. Worked with DNR Biologist Phil Wilkinson and USFWS Toxicologist Dr. Thomas Rainwater on an Alligator Genetic Research Project setting snares, investigating and documenting nests daily, eventually removing 5 eggs for research at MUSC. I also reinforced my ability to work independently, as a member of a team, and my ability to work outside, tolerating the heat and biting insects.

Conceived and implemented new strategies in order to maintain a fresh flow of new customers, maintained excellent lines of communication with local businesses and business owners.
