I was in charge of Both the Sales & Finance Departments in this mult-line/high volume powersports dealership. I also acted as the GM in the owners absence. As a Sales Manager I was responsible for all aspects of vehicle sales, cost accounting & profitability, as well as inventory control. I assigned values to trade in vehicles and used unit purchases. I had 3 salespeople to train, manage & schedule. As a Finance Manager I was responsible for securing credit for the customer, printing accurate contracts and registering the vehicle with both the Manufacturer and the DMV. I sent the contract packages in to the financing institutions for funding of the loans. Accuracy in all of this had to be 100% The business sold and changed owners after 29 years. The new owner took over my position in May 2019.

Processed all DMV Documents for the dealership. This required 100% accuracy in paperwork and state licensing forms. Sold powersports products to customers and maintained a good relationship with them. The dealership was a casualty of the economy and went out of business in 2009. I am not sure how to contact the owner after the business went bankrupt. I can verify this employment with paycheck stubs.

My primary duties were ordering and selling new & used units and assessing the value of trade in vehicles. I assisted in the procurement of the powersports dealerships such as: Victory, Polaris (all lines) Kasea, Derby, TM, Lem & E-ton. Other duties included: Securing credit for customers. contracting the unit, submitting packets for bank funding, Signing checks, inventory control (units & parts/accessories), Parts counter management, marketing strategies, promotional sales events,and much more.
