I’m on a mission to help entrepreneurs tackle the unique challenges that come with building the next generation of market-defining businesses and support startup ecosystems around the world. I’m interested in connecting with leading VCs, angel investors, ecosystem partners and high-potential technology founders. As one of Australia’s most active angel investors, I’ve built a portfolio of more than 140 investments across diverse industries and geographies, with tier 1 IRR performance since 2010 and early investments in companies including Canva and Ipsy. But my commitment to the startup ecosystem goes deeper than capital. Having successfully co-founded, scaled and sold a sales/data-tech business, I understand the significant pressures of running a high-growth business and the level of support founders need to succeed. Over the last decade, I’ve worked with leading early stage investors and entrepreneurial experts to develop a methodology that brings proven science to the art of early stage investing. This methodology enables us to turn uncertainty into opportunity and identify and support founders with the passion and capability to shape the future. At Investible (www.investible.com), we combine traditional VC funding with the support and scale of a global investor network to actively empower founders to reach their full potential and enable investors to strengthen and scale their early stage dealflow across multiple sectors and geographies. In addition to Investible, I served as Chairman of peer-to-peer vehicle rental platform Car Next Door (sold to Uber 2022) and on the board of Kip McGrath Education Centres. I also serve as Entrepreneur in Residence at the University of New South Wales. I’m a firm believer that giving your time and support is the best way to contribute as an entrepreneur. As such, I have supported numerous national and local not-for-profit initiatives, serving as Chairman of the Salvation Army Red Shield Appeal, on the board of Waterpolo NSW, as a Rugby Coach and Sponsorship Coordinator at Coogee Seahorses. I am the founding President of ECBR - a new age Surfboard-riders club with a purpose.
