Developing an app to assist with organizing AI Projects.

Worked on their web app "Horizon" - it was a fully featured app for users to see their wind turbine inspections and all relating data. As well as being able to create tasks and accompanying information for damages on any asset that is on a wind turbine.Contributions: - Helped lead the charge on taking the codebase from JavaScript to TypeScript. We were able to incrementally refactor components and supporting code to TypeScript over time. - Supported the Front End Guild meetings by being present, leading, and having topics to discuss. - Lead a team of 5 engineers for a specific purpose of feature development for the Assets domain of the application. We were tasked with creating several systems that would drive user retention and excitement around what our app could do for their wind turbine fleet. - Solved complex problems related to page loading times. Issues ranged from multiple data fetches, component composition, bad state data, unnecessary calls, and inefficient code.Primary Responsibilities: - Work with the product team and UX designers to spec out features. - Meet with the team about feature specs, then plan, design, and delegate work. - Implement solutions using Typescript, React, Apollo GraphQL, AntD and Styled-Components. - Create unit tests with Jest and Testing-Library React to test component functionality. - Create e2e tests with Cypress. - Mentor and work with more junior engineers.Tech stack: React, Typescript, Javascript, Apollo GraphQL, knex, postgres

Worked on the Suited Web Platform to help deliver a quality product for Candidates and Recruiters. With accessibility and workflows in mind I always made sure that anything in our app was keyboard navigable in a way that made sense and that screen readers could access the elements correctly.Technologies used in the day to day: - React - Typescript - Apollo Client for GraphQL

● Using a wide range of technologies to accomplish tasks for the given project. Technologies include: ○ Bash, Python, Java ○ JavaScript(Node, Vue, React, jQuery) ○ Database(MS SQL, MySQL, Postgresql) ○ Firebase● Work closely with the client and designers to get clear definitions and goals on features that need to be developed.● Use mockups and wireframes to develop off of.● Identify endpoints that would need to be created to serve data to the front end.● Validate inputs to ensure the front end and back end only accept the information that should be allowed.● Create reusable components.● Use common tooling and bundlers for JavaScript (Webpack, Babel).

● Research and be knowledgeable about the OpenText Media Manager application and all of its components(OTDS, EPS/APS, MFT, Viki, Transcoding).● Troubleshoot every point in the infrastructure(network, system resources).● Install, configure, patch and maintain application infrastructure.● Create metadata, security policies, roles, user groups and configure for desired security.● Create and maintain documentation(guides, FAQs, infrastructure diagrams) for end users and support staff.● Train other support members on common issues and troubleshooting necessary for the platforms we work with.● Resolve end user issues quickly and efficiently to provide top notch customer satisfaction.● Create custom branding and develop changes to the UI based on customer needs. Examples include:○ Custom menu options to contact support for ticket submission and linking to the support website that includes FAQs and Guides for end users.○ Reskinning to use customer logos and colors.○ Adding, editing and removing UI as requested.

● Heavily involved in campus computer repairs and network setups in my junior and senior year of high school. During my 3 hour block period of computer repair and support I was one of two people who assisted with troubleshooting and repairing campus systems.● Assisted with data recovery and program setups. I also created CAT5 cables and ran cables through ceiling panels for phones and desktops in various buildings on campus.
