After completing rigorous training at Specialized Bicycle Component headquarters, in conjunction with the Boulder Center for Sports Medicine, I worked at a fit studio in downtown San Francisco, through Mike's Bikes, performing highly technical bike fits. My clients would come to me for many reasons, whether it be nagging injuries, desiring more power output, to simply be more comfortable on the bike, etc. I would work with them for 2.5 hours (on average) ensuring their new position on the bike was one they can enjoy for months, if not years down the road.I learned how to manage clients effectively, work with people on a very personal level, continue to bring business to the company through add-on sales and networking through word of mouth (based upon customer satisfaction with my fit). There are less than 100 Certified Masters BG Fit Technicians in the world. We are tested personally by the lead bike fitters in the industry (Dr. Andy Pruitt).

I worked with the Creative Director for Mike's Bikes helping to bring graphics projects to press more quickly, and also creating many of my own works, some of which have been sold and advertised successfully. I refined my abilities with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, and gained valuable "real world" experience within the design and marketing industry.This position was only filled for 1-year after which I became a Certified Master BG Fit Technician.

I was the top selling Sales Associate at Mike's BIkes in 2009. Mike's is a company of 150 employees, one of the largest independent bicycle dealers in the country, and the largest Specialized and Cannondale dealer in the country. Through 2008, I was a part time employee as I was attending university full time.
