Trevor is an energetic strategic leader, with almost 30 years technology and business transformation experience in the BC Public, Financial Services and Canadian Energy sectors. He attained his Masters Degree in Business Administration from Royal Roads University in 2014. Over the years his leadership in innovation and strategic business alignment has delivered significant value to citizens and stakeholders.Currently Trevor leads the Public Sector Technology Advisory practice for KPMG. Trevor and his team advise clients and perform assessments in several areas including: Service Management and IT operations; IT General Controls; Digital Strategy including how to move to the cloud; how to re-align IT Architecture and drive business outcomes; and how to procure, design, install, and deliver digital technology within the public sector while maintaining privacy requirements.More recently Trevor was the Executive Director and Chief Information Officer for the Ministry of Advanced Education Skills & Training. In this key executive role Trevor works closely with several Ministry program heads to deliver several digital services such as Student Aid BC. Trevor also works closely with the Higher Education Sector throughout BC, including BCNET, to help shape several collaborative initiatives. Also, as part of his strategy to engage students, Trevor is Associate Faculty at Royal Roads University where he teaches Information Systems in a Connected World to new BCOM students. Previously Trevor worked as a Director with the Ministry of Transportation working on delivering the operational portion of the Strategic Transformation Initiative and was paramount in relocating all Ministry services to the central Government datacenter in Kamloops.Prior to working in the BC Public Sector, Trevor focused on Management Consulting (IT Advisory and Business Transformation) to the leadership community in British Columbia as well as technical project management for highly complex or tight timeline IT projects. As a consultant Trevor successfully managed the Natural Resource Sector/Residential Tenancy Branch Systems Modernization project (requirements phase), the relocation of Maximus BC and Ministry of Health Pharmanet Apps to Kamloops B.C., and the complete Digital Transformation of Custom House Ltd to Western Union Business Solutions.On a personal note, as a member of Metis Nation BC, Trevor has a passion for engaging Aboriginal communities and assisting in resolving the many issue facing Aboriginal citizens today.
