As a line cook/prep I come in every day and make sure we have fresh sanitizer, then I prep my line for the day. Once that’s all done I start working on the prep list for the day which includes getting out the recipes and making it all from scratch. This includes desserts, entrées, appetizers, jams, sauces, dressings and much more. Most times I have to balance prepping and running the line at the same time.

As Lead Line Cook I pull tickets and call out in priority what needs to be dropped or started first. I always aim to prepare the food to exceed normal expectations. I also keep a sanitary and clean workspace. In addition twice a week I would restock the store with everything sorted by date to make sure we keep everything fresh.

As the Donation Ambassador, I made calls to schedule donation pickups. I also drove the box trucks to pick up the donations from the donor’s households and businesses. When done with pickups we would bring them back, clean, price, and place out on the floor for sale.

As a delivery associate, I was in charge of checking online orders, pulling the product off the shelves and staging it for both in-store pickup and delivery orders.
