About Trevor Ketcham

Passionate young engineer making an impact in global engineering. Immediately after school, I jumped into industry as an engineer for Fisher Controls, part of Emerson. Initially hired to upgrade and manage an on-site hazardous location test laboratory, after a few months I was quickly pivoted to the new product development of the Fisher DVC7K, DPC2K, and 4400. I provided significant testing and design work on all three products and was able to save months of release time on each. Work on these devices sent me around the country and world spending significant time in Iowa, Minneapolis, Cleveland, and the UK. I continue to assist on new and legacy products but have now pivoted again to focus on development of an accredited standards laboratory to allow for greatly accelerated new product development. Prior to working at Emerson, I obtained Mechanical Engineering degree for Iowa State University in the Fall of 2023. During university I obtained three internships which showed me the many sides of engineering including manufacturing, research & development, product evaluation, system design, engineering sales, and facility construction. Summer of 2021, I worked as manufacturing process intern at Sukup Manufacturing. Summer and fall of 2022, I worked as a test engineer in the most advance flow control lab in the world at Emerson/Fisher Controls. During the summer of 2023, I worked for Burns & McDonnell as a pipeline and facilities engineer designing gas process facilities. These experienced made me a well-rounded engineer at a young age.
