Joining ValleyCrest originally in the Pleasanton, CA office, I was responsible for all aspects of construction project management (P&L, schedule, quality, etc.) for numerous projects throughout the Bay Area, including Yerba Buena Gardens (atop the world famous Moscone Center) in San Francisco. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yerba_Buena_GardensLater I relocated to the San Diego office, where I managed projects in Orange and San Diego counties. Among these was the International Gateway of the Americas, a shopping & retail center that straddles the California/Mexico border. While there, I was responsible for projects of all types, including shopping/retail, industrial/commercial, residential, land development, structural, sports fields, man-made lakes, golf courses, Public Works projects, and remediation/mitigation. Additionally, I managed the construction of three free-standing buildings, including all structural, plumbing, masonry, and electrical.Client types included private Owners, public agencies, State & Federal government, and Native American Tribal organizations.During my tenure at ValleyCrest I completed over 80 projects (in +/- 60 locations), with an average increase of >5% over planned profit.
