I teach Accounting, Personal Financial Management, Intro to Marketing & Business, Advanced Marketing, Entrepreneurship & Management. I oversee operations of the school store and serve as the DECA advisor at Wausau East High School.

-Create organic marketing content to attract new customers-Edit and publish original videos for a diverse client base-Assist in planning and execution of inbound marketing strategies-Specialize in development of business’ implementation of various social media strategies-Collaborate with business owner on day to day business operations and decisions

Helping students reach their potential on the court and in the classroom.

-Develop and deliver standards based curriculum with engaging and differentiated teaching methods for Business Law, Personal Finance, Introduction to Business, Introduction to Marketing, and Social Media and E-Marketing classes-Implementation of a wide variety of instructional technology applications and software that dramatically assist student learning based on best practices learned via my masters degree and hundreds of professional development hours-Collaborate with fellow teachers and community business members to develop two new and three improved course offerings that meet current industry needs-Foster and build positive relationships and open lines of communication with students, parents, colleagues and administration, fostering an environment of support and collaboration-Advise and direct the daily operations of the school store, generating over $150,000 of gross sales over the past five years while providing hands-on training to students

Helping students develop leadership, presentation, collaboration, and other various business and employability skills.

I have taught 18 different Marketing and Business classes. Classes I've taught include Accounting, Marketing, Computer Applications, Keyboarding, Personal Financial Management, Intro to Business, and more. The school store is an extension of the Marketing curriculum that I oversee and maintain. I have also been the department chairperson for the Marketing/Business department for the past three years. My background and expertise in various educational technology has led me to train fellow teachers when our district implements new programs such as Google Docs and G-mail, Infinite Campus, etc.

I have been the head girls and boys tennis coach since the fall of 2007. In that time, our teams have won 4 conference championships. I have had the fortune of coaching over 20 athletes who made it to the WIAA state individual tennis tournament. In 2013, our Boys tennis team won sectionals and made it to team state for the 2nd time in Wausau East history.
