I am an educator, researcher, and advocate committed to helping young people develop positive identities and strong civic engagement through innovative history/social science curriculum and inclusive school support. At One Institute, the oldest active LGBTQ+ organization in the United States, I direct LGBTQ+ history programs for youth and K-12 educators through collaboration with government and community organizations. A former high school teacher, my content expertise includes 19th and 20th century U.S. history, particularly African American and LGBTQ+ history, and U.S. government and politics. I serve on the Executive Boards for the Harvard Gender and Sexuality Caucus and WeHo Stories, a non-profit documenting West Hollywood's cityhood. I am proudly Gen Z and a Mississippi Gulf Coast native.
