Camp Bum is a family operated business located in San Diego, CA that is dedicated to preaching the good word about nature and the outdoors. Our website is built using WordPress and utilizes WooCommerce. We have an integrated membership program, payment gateways, custom popups, a strong social media presence, social media advertising, email marketing, and event coordination.

I was responsible for developing, overseeing, optimizing, and elevating the performance of Eufora's e-commerce website(s), online member services, web assets, and User Interface/User Experience (UI/UX). I also played a key role in creating digital graphics and assisting in shooting behind-the-scenes photography and video. Furthermore, I provided valuable contributions to the art direction of campaigns, aligning campaign strategies with our creative standards to bolster sales initiatives, educational programs, and member services.

In my role, I was responsible for overseeing the conceptualization, management, and execution of all visual communications for the Cobian brand. Notably, I directed the brand story, creative direction, talent selection, and photography for the Fall 2022 and Spring 2023 product catalogs, encompassing in-store signage, digital marketing collateral, and event materials. Additionally, I played a pivotal role in the development of logos and iconography for the Hobgood Sandal line by Cobian, further enhancing brand identity. Furthermore, I designed responsive email marketing templates, automated workflows, and implemented retargeting strategies, which proved effective in minimizing cart abandonment rates. Through these contributions, I made significant strides in advancing Cobian's visual and brand communication efforts.

I held the position of Senior Designer at Lofta, an online retailer specializing in CPAP devices, accessories, and supplies, with a range of innovative at-home testing solutions and sleep coaching services. In my role, I ensured strict adherence to brand standards across all marketing collateral, while also taking charge of designing and structuring new website pages (UI/UX). Additionally, I was responsible for curating, scheduling, and posting content across various social media channels, as well as crafting and coding email newsletters. Furthermore, I played a pivotal role in devising imaginative paid digital advertising campaigns, conducting product photography shoots, and contributing to creative copywriting efforts.

I was a vital part of a highly creative Marketing Team, serving as a Website Developer and Designer. My daily responsibilities involved devising strategies and implementing efficient solutions for complex demands. Tasks included updating site pages on both PC and Mac platforms, crafting social media graphics and digital ads, and creating engaging email newsletters. I also played a pivotal role in strategizing and executing cutting-edge design for various motivational and real estate-focused events across the United States and Canada. This encompassed UI/UX design for webpages, gated member pages, lead forms, popups, and more. Additionally, I successfully revamped the Buffini & Company Member Stories webpage to be responsive and mobile-friendly, while also designing social media graphics, banners, and advertisements, and contributing to email newsletter design and layout.

I was responsible for designing and managing visual collateral for various events, including concerts and plays, across both digital and print media. Notably, our work for high-profile artists and events was featured in the monthly San Diego Reader. Additionally, our designs were showcased on prominent digital billboards, such as the large North County Westfield Mall display along the busy 15 freeway and the Center for the Arts digital billboard in Escondido.

I was responsible for designing and formatting marketing materials for events in both print and digital formats, intended for various media platforms such as websites, magazines, television, radio, social media, and mobile apps. Additionally, I had the role of serving as the event photographer for NAMM tradeshows, supporting the Video Department in creating annual Board of Directors videos, and collaborating with the Web Development Department on tasks like designing mobile app icons, trade show maps, and location waypoints.

I was accountable for producing printed materials, including guidebooks, pamphlets, and brochures, in over 14 languages. I participated in brainstorming and strategic sessions to develop engaging marketing campaigns and brand names. In addition, I managed the branding, design, and layout of new product packaging, logos, as well as printed and digital marketing collateral. Furthermore, I provided support to the web development team by assisting in website updates and wireframing.

Created and designed custom cycling kits for racing teams, professional athletes, and corporate teams. Highlights were creating a custom kit for NBA Hall of Famer, Bill Walton, and local USMC cycling teams.
