• Regularly communicate with front and middle office in the resolution of problems raised by counter parties or any queries raised in my daily activities.• Ran daily payment reports on Summit and Midas for payments today, and reconcile differences between the two systems.• Review our rejections account for failed payments and internal accounting, passing entries as necessary to clear.• Pass manual payments to our counter parties.• Obtained daily rates from Bloomberg, Telerate and Reuters and input these onto our three systems: Enterprise, Summit and Midas.• Match incoming reset advices from corporate clients and banks to our payment reports, and telephone confirm with same as needed.• Work out our daily Mark to Market deals, revaluing currencies as needed, telephone confirm with counter parties and also pass entries to clear our accounts of the new figures.• Cover for the incoming confirmations team, checking confirmations and also checking them against what dealers have keyed onto our systems, requiring some knowledge of ISDA.• Calculate interpolated rates for trades with non-standard periods.• Produce and check incoming and outgoing reset advices.• Investigate problems for internal and external clients• Had created and updated a query spreadsheet to keep my team leader informed of any current queries our team has.• Update customer/bank contact details as they become available.
