This is a very hands-on role working for a consultancy of 30-40 users. As the sole IT person in the organisation I was responsible for the whole range of functions from desktop user support through networking, security and server management.Key Responsibilities User support. Originally joining Darwin Medical Communications as a Multimedia Designer I assumed the IT responsibilities immediately and moved over to the full time sole IT support function in Jan 02. Darwin was a small agency of 30 users, the majority running Macs where I took the previous Mac server installation and migrated over to Windows Server 2003 and Exchange Server 2003 system. Still veryhands-on as IT manager I continued to support all users whilst advising the Directors with the technological direction of the company.Key Responsibilities The smooth running of IT and Telecommunications systems.
