About Trevor Spence
I am a Master's candidate at the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee Knoxville studying for my Master's in Accountancy. I have always been an analytical person with a strong consideration for what needs to be done and how to help people reach their goals. My last position was interning with Deloitte at their Atlanta office in the International Tax Department. I had so many diverse opportunities to work on a great deal of projects that gave new insight into accounting and broadened my view of the business world. I am aiming to start strong as an entry level public accountant and grow from there. I want to achieve as a professional and reach new heights. I have a dream of becoming a partner someday, seen as not only a leader in the industry, but as an ethical pillar of the business community. In the short term of the next five to ten years, I’d love to rise by achieving incremental management roles and take on responsibilities by being a team leader or a respected team member. Currently I am looking to broaden my horizons for the future by completing my masters. I spent time abroad learning how international business is done and rounding out my worldview with experiences that are helping to grow me into a leader that understands other cultures and how business is seen around the world.
