I worked at The Southern Virginia Higher Education Center as the Print and Production Manager. My duties there were to assist students and staff for all there printing needs. I manned a forty-eight inch ink jet HP printer, keeping it up to check on calibrations and ink levels. I printed with various types of papers such as drafting paper, canvas, and a polypropylene paper material. I also created graphic design and marketing materials where I created logos, flyers, banners, and etc. for the schools and local business needs.Also at The Southern Virginia Higher Education Center I created recruiting videography and photography. I created videos based on what the higher education center offered to the public and students. Also, I took photography of students and events around the higher education center to support future graphic design projects or videography jobs.
