I run an architectural studio in West Putney based in a contemporary low energy building we constructed a few years ago. The design practice has been established several decades now, with an extensive portfolio of work from bespoke houses, large-scale self build and developer housing to a mix of commercial, restaurants and bars through to pockets of mixed-use regeneration schemes. Stimulation is drawn from the arts and innovation, the challenge of the new and where in our small way we can make a contribution to built and natural environment. We operate in London and country wide with the benefit of an engaging mix of private and corporate clients and an equally interesting mix of site locations which have honed our skills. Good architecture and design improves wellbeing and we rise to this challenge with a preference for location specific solutions, within the broad church of contemporary and tradition rather than promoting a house style. We do not to lose sight of the value of each commission, larger or small, promoting a lean, pragmatic approach with the view architecture is a balance that must be struck between art and the commercially viable.The success of much of our project work is achieved through a team approach.
