• Assist with the production of launch system core stage liquid oxygen & hydrogen tanks by providing factory support, and structural analysis and testing. o Structural and Fracture Analysis of liquid oxygen and hydrogen tanks using Abaqus and NASGRO. o Support the factory by ensuring we have the proper parts that meet specifications, providing engineering dispositions and guidance on non-conformances, and doing lessons learned to capture pitfalls and potential process and design change opportunities that could improve future builds. o Developed a python code to efficiently locate the nearest nodes of an Abaqus model in relation to physical gauges on the tank and obtain strain predictions from Abaqus models for use in a structural qualification testing. o Developed python tool to aide in data visualization by quickly parsing, filtering and plotting large sets of test data for analysis verifications. • Taught course on python for analyst to members of the design center covering fundamentals, data handling, and interfacing with Abaqus and Nastran.

• Provided support, through thermal analysis, across multiple BCA programs including: • Duct burst analysis using Matlab to determine if the avionics box for 777x will withstand high temps created by a high pressure air duct rupturing. • Wing heating an expansion analysis using a Matlab and thermal desktop model to understand if the 747 wing was at risk for thermal expansion due to higher than expected heat loads when crossing the equator. • Designed a numerical compressor and turbine model in Matlab to study the effects of modifying blade geometry, in an effort to optimize overall volume while maintaining desired output to better drive vendor specifications.
