National strategy lead for GTB Canada (WPP@Ford), dedicated to Ford of Canada.

With the agency in startup mode, my role as Head of Strategy was a dynamic one. One part senior-level client work, one part department leadership, one part agency management and one part new business hunter.My focus was split between three key client relationships, in three diverse categories (Financial, Retail and Gaming), continuing to build the strategy department and strategic offering of the agency, and helping to grow the overall agency business.

After being promoted to Group Strategy Director, I remained active in my client relationships, but took on a greater role in managing the strategy department, and developing the agency's incredible team of strategists.I also worked closely with the agency's design leadership to help develop a new approach to brand development, which married the worlds of design thinking, strategic development and visual design, to create a collaborative process that has proven successful on a wide range of large and small client assignments.I am also extremely proud of the award-winning work that I contributed to on long-time clients like Tangerine (Banking) and Boston Pizza (Restaurants).

As Director of Strategic Planning, I managed a team of strategists responsible for strategic leadership on a number of the agency's key accounts, including Boston Pizza, Tangerine, Sleep Country Canada, Kruger, Mitsubishi Canada, Schneiders and the Ministry of Health & Long Term Care.Outside of these day-to-day responsibilities, I was also a member of the agency's new business team.I was also a member of john st's Leadership Group, which was responsible for day-to-day management and thought leadership within the agency.

Promoted to Planning Director in November, 2016, I continued to lead planning on Kellogg's, Yellow Pages and the Ministry of Indigenous Relations & Reconciliation, but also took over North American planning duties on P&G's fabric care brands, Bounce and Gain.

As a Senior Planner at Leo Burnett Toronto, I was responsible for the strategic leadership of a diverse set of brands. I managed the Kellogg’s Canada business (Special K, All Bran, Mini-Wheats and Rice Krispies) along with Yellow Pages Canada and Yello Caribbean.

As a Senior Planner, I oversaw all aspects of strategic planning on a number of key agency accounts, including Boston Pizza, Sunlight, Snuggle and Tim Horton's.

As the Planning Director, I am the strategic planning lead on a number of integrated accounts. I lead our team of planners – both digital and traditional – including analysts, social strategists and community managers. My client responsibilities include up-front research, KPI development, briefing, presenting, and post campaign analysis and reporting.Some key projects I have lead include a strategic brand consultation project for BRP, charitable donation campaign for AIDS Walk for Life, as well as the lead planner of the national Petro-Canada account.I also help manage the agency's business development team, where I've helped win the agency a number of new pieces of business, both organic and new.Clients: Petro-Canada, BRP, Nissan, AIDS Walk for Life, Minto, Visa, KPMG, [yellow tail]

I was hired by Cossette to work specifically on BMO, and assigned the task of leading the client and the account team towards more digital work. Teaching has always been a passion of mine, so this was a tremendous opportunity to combine two skill sets on a key national account.In addition to my work with BMO, I also had the pleasure of working on a number of other accounts,including: the planning lead for a digital donation drive for Habitat for Humanity, help develop a number of mobile and social tools for Kinross Gold, and lead the strategy on an employer brand project for the LCBO.Clients: LCBO, Procter & Gamble, Future Shop, BMO, Habitat for Humanity, Kinross Gold, Centennial College, General Mills

After joining TMP as a Digital Strategist in the Toronto office, a number of staffing changes left me responsible for the three other Canadian offices. The workload was heavy, but it allowed me to see the business from all sides, and lead me to a number of conclusions regarding the agency’s future in digital. After presenting my plan to the global agency leaders, I was promoted to VP Digital Strategy for Canada.In this role, I lead a team of Canadian strategists and developed a number of new digital initiatives for the organization, including an industry-first mobile offering, and some award-winning digital client work.Clients: Rogers, Imperial Oil, Sun Life Financial, Scotiabank, Deloitte, Hydro-Quebec

Role: New business development, specializing in online sales, for a portfolio of national accounts.Highlights Top Sales: Lead business development team in monthly sales in four months. Placed first in total Q1 sales in 2010.Social Media: Managed company’s social media channels, and worked with marketing team to develop social strategy for the organization.

Role: Developing ad sales strategies with US-based publishers through sale of online ad-tracking services.Highlights Top Sales: Lead sales team in quarterly sales for first two quarters of 2009, exceeding first quarter target by 205%.Opening New Markets: Successfully opened new portfolio of accounts in Missouri, by strategically locating an untapped cluster of regional competitors.
