Experienced compliance officer skilled in compliance risk, operational risk, vendor risk management, policies and procedures, legal writing, management and leadership. I am a licensed attorney in both Florida and the District of Columbia with a strong background in Compliance and Risk Management.I am currently a lead compliance trainer for Capco on several topics including Lending, Deposits, UDAAP, the examination process, and writing for examiners. I have taught numerous compliance classes for several regulatory agencies including the FDIC and the CFPB since 2011. I currently work in the RISC division of Capco as a senior consultant and trainer. I develop content and present seminars and workshops on both advanced lending and deposits topics. In addition to developing and presenting material, I also help in marketing the events from campaign conception to gathering leads and writing copy. I also assist colleagues with custom training projects for regulatory agencies, banks and credit unions.Prior to that I worked with Regulatory Advisory Services, again within FIS, as a Senior Compliance Manager. In that position, I performed research on various regulatory matters and questions for banks and credit unions.I started with FIS in 2011 as a compliance consultant and performed risk assessments, BSA/AML audits, HMDA scrubs, and performed various lending and deposit reviews among other projects.
