We launched The Avery Project, as a result of a private grant to Dr. Florian Eichler at MGH Pediatric Neurology in support of very early stage research into our daughter Avery's rare genetic variant affecting Sphingolipid Metabolism. Our hope is that this work will result in identification of potential pathology, treatments, and therapies and enable families dealing with the same ambiguity, to finally have a path forward.
