I am a Director in the Trial & Appellate and Biotechnology & Chemical Practice Groups at Sterne Kessler and I co-chair the firm’s PTAB Trials Practice. I have served as counsel on more than one hundred inter partes review and post grant review proceedings and have extensive experience litigating before the U.S. Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB). I also specialize in the interface between district court litigation and PTAB proceedings, having successfully delivered jury verdicts for my clients well into the eight figures as part of a comprehensive enforcement strategy. I also assist clients with U.S. International Trade Commission investigations under §337, evaluating patent portfolios, drafting patent applications, and prosecuting interferences, as well as other intellectual property strategic advice.
