Worked in a Bio-Medical research lab as a undergraduate. I duplicated a study preformed by graduate students to learn and as well as to compare to the original result. After this study I collected all of human and bovine cartilage samples used for the cartilage research portion of the lab for nearly 2 years as well as helped troubleshoot problems including sources of contamination, operation of centrifuge bioreactors, and lab organization.

•Responsible for mosquito control mission covering 1/3 of geographical area of Franklin County guided by GIS mapping.•Independently identified, tested, and chemically treated stagnant water in accordance with WA and federal regulations (DEQ). •Followed material safety data sheet. •Licensed WA Commercial Pesticide Applicator.•Analyzed geography for potential contamination of flowing water and made informed treatment decisions.•Responsible for company vehicles (truck, trailer, quad ATV, or moped depending on assigned task)•Stocked vehicle with appropriate pesticide at the beginning for each day

•Gathered and analyzed data from produce treated with commercial herbicides, insecticides, and fertilizers. Measured sugar content of ripened berries with Brix refractometer.•Measured and documented pest infestations afflicting potato, blueberry, asparagus, and other crops grown in Eastern Washington. •Supervised 2 interns
