-Performs qualitative toxicology analysis of urine specimens in a high-complexity, CLIA-compliant laboratory setting with use of the Olympus AU640™ Chemistry Immuno Analyzer, Beckman Coulter AU480™, Indiko Plus, and Mindray BA-800M.-Operation of TSQ Quantis and quantitative mass spectra data review of 35+ unique drug compounds; troubleshoot and maintain instrumentation and software, prepare department standards and internal standards for use in calibration and QC samples.-Follows laboratory SOP's for handling and processing of specimens; analysis of produced results; maintenance of patient medical records and other protected health information.-Adheres to laboratory QC policies--including documentation of daily QC testing, instrument and procedural calibrations, and all instrument maintenance performed.-Follows established laboratory Corrective Action policies and procedures in the event that testing methods are not within normal laboratory operating conditions.-Demonstrates ability to identify potential problems that may produce adverse or faulty test results and either proactively corrects the problem(s) or reports to designated personnel.-Documents system, instrument, or procedural deviations from normal operation or established laboratory specifications.-Responsible for management of staff and operation of multiple locations in different cities.

-Digestion of adipose tissue and aseptic extraction of regenerative stem cells for alternative therapeutic veterinary medicine.-Cryobanking; Autologous Conditioned Serum/Platelet Rich Plasma processing.-Quality assurance and microbiology on all incoming and outgoing specimens to validate sample purity; analysis of bacterial growth, when and if necessary.-Assisted with research project to develop a protocol specifically aimed at isolating and identifying specific growth factors unique to MediVet equine blood conditioning standards; extensive utilization of ELISA for analyis; responsible for developing research project to utilize blood conditioning methods for feline and canine species using a series of different anticoagulants for analysis.-Logistics and freight: assists organizing pallets for both domestic and international freight, supplying shipping costs for commercial invoices, declared value/insurance, and cost-effective packaging for items including but not limited to temperature-sensitive enzyme and biological samples; monitors both incoming and outgoing specimens to ensure appropriate transit time(s).-Lab stock and inventory: responsible for maintaining supplies/instruments and placing purchase orders to appropriate vendors to replenish laboratory needs; facilitates ordering and pricing quotes of lab equipment and consumables for international lab setup, as well as installation, troubleshooting, and repair.-Primary point of contact for corporate partners and accredited veterinarians for lab/science-related inquiries, case selection, procedural difficulties, and pricing; pet owner/customer support and MediVet Lab Services marketing and sales.-Training prospective clients on digestion of adipose tissue, troubleshooting, and quality assurance; frequent travel to veterinary institutes across the country for in-clinic training; international travel for initial Referral Lab setup as well as ongoing follow-up support.

-Works independently (or with a team of co-workers), acts as a communications liaison for patients, visitors, and any/all departments contributing to quality patient care.-Processes physician requests by means of fax, telephone, computer, intercom and imprinters.-Completes necessary registration documents for both inpatient and outpatient procedures.-Filing, chart assembly and maintenance, medical records, transcription, data entry. -Customer service experience not only in the form of direct interaction, but also answering incoming calls in a professional manner and directing them to the appropriate location; also monitors patient waiting time and helps facilitate unit work flow as needed.-Maintains professionalism in the workplace and is compliant with hospital violations and security procedures.
